Steve Carell’s latest project will find him as a lonely husband and father roundly dumped by his wife, trying to reconnect with his kids and learning how to become a stuff with the ladies thanks to some advice from Ryan Gosling. Now we know the title – Crazy, Stupid Love and one of the other possible cast members: Zombieland’s Emma Stone.

The wonderful Stone, who played smooth-talking, car-jacking, shotgun-hefting Wichita in the zom-com, is in negotiations to play an apparently pivotal role that the Vulture blog’s report refuses to clarify since it ties the whole film together and could be a massive spoiler. Non-spoilsports…

Dan Fogelman penned the script with I Love You Philip Morris directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa on board to crank the cameras as soon as Carell has some free time from The Office.
