Diesel and Leslie (Game Of Thrones' Ygritte) are aboard for the long-gestating genre project, which sees Diesel as the titular final crone-basher. He's a semi-immortal warrior who has been keeping humanity safe from the cauldron community for years and who finds his latest battle in modern-day New York, where a powerful witch is plotting to smite humankind with a deadly plague.

Caine's role is as-yet uspecified - we're rooting for Coven Head Warlock - and the same goes for Wood at this stage.
What we do know is that Breck Eisner (The Crazies) is directing the film, which features a script that has been through several hands, most recently Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (Dracula Untold). Pre-production is underway but there's no release date so far.
