As you may know, we had Eli Roth in the office for a webchat yesterday, and while he was here he let slip a few tantalising tidbits about both the proposed sequel to his horror hit Hostel, and his executive producer, Quentin Tarantino's, next film.
When we asked how Hostel 2 was shaping up, he said, "Pretty good. The studio announced it to the trade papers without talking to me. That's cool. Since I own the rights, they should probably ask me at some point."
Somehow we have the feeling that feverish negotiations are currently taking place and that the exchange of large amounts of money is imminent. Next, however, one of our readers asked about Grind, the portmanteau film coming from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Since Eli has a bit of inside knowledge, he was able to share this tantalising promise:
"Grindhouse will be awesome. Quentin's idea is fucking sick. They are going to do the most incredible movie."
