One of the biggest hits at this year's Cannes Film Festival, Mike Leigh's All Or Nothing, will receive its UK premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival this August. In an announcement this morning [17 June 2002], the festival's Artistic Director Shane Danielson confirmed that among the films confirmed for Edinburgh this year were Leigh's film, the Sundance prize-winner Tadpole, the US blockbuster Changing Lanes and Heather Graham's Working Title film The Guru. For those of you of a more artistic bent, the festival will also be hosting a retrospective of 1960s Swedish cinema as well as a section devoted to the films of Japanese director Kon Ichikawa. The full list of films will be announced on 11 July 2002, when Empire Online will be bringing you more news on the Edinburgh line-up.
