As he starts rolling the cameras and spinning the wheels on his latest, Edgar Wright has rounded up one more person for Baby Driver. Jon Bernthal, soon be seen blazing across our screens as The Punisher in season 2 of Daredevil, has joined an already impressive cast.

And with the new casting comes some extra information about the story and its various players. Kevin Spacey plays crime kingpin Doc, who coerces a talented getaway driver nicknamed Baby (Ansel Elgort) to work for him. He'll be at the wheel for Doc's criminal associates, including Buddy (Jon Hamm), a handsome party animal, Buddy's main squeeze Darling (Eliza Gonzalez), who more than matches him in criminal tendencies and Bats (Jamie Foxx), their impulsive, trigger happy cohort. Baby is used to using his personal soundtrack to protect him from the chaos, but when the heist goes bad, he'll find his life and his girlfriend Deborah (Lily James) at risk.

According to Deadline, Bernthal is aboard to play someone called Griff, but nothing else is known about him. Still, if Back To The Future Part II teaches us anything, he's probably a wrong 'un.

Wright wrote the script and is busy directing Baby Driver now in Atlanta. It'll squeal into our cinemas on March 17 next year.
