Eddie Murphy is being sued by a soundman from the set of Bowfinger, the Steve Martin scripted comedy currently in production. Martin Bolger claims that Murphy fired a blank round from a stunt gun without warning, giving him hearing damage. He has filed a personal injury suit against Murphy and the production company. The case may not be thrilling, but at least the film sounds better. In Bowfinger, Murphy plays a movie star called Kit Ramsey who turns down a part in a film written by Bobby Bowfinger (Steve Martin). Bowfinger decides to make the film anyway and he his production crew trail the star around Los Angeles garnering shots for their movie without his knowledge.
