Dunst Deals With A Jealous Ghost

Kirsten Dunst got her film career started with a dark paranormal tale (1994’s Interview With The Vampire), so it’s not surprising that she’s been attached to star – and produce – something similar.

Paramount Vantage has nabbed AN Wilson’s book A Jealous Ghost, which will be loosely adapted into a tale featuring Dunst as a woman who, while studying in London, starts a relationship with one of her professors. Instead of earning a telling off from the dean, she starts seeing demons. We hate it when that happens.

The book apparently takes place in the third person, and the film will branch off into different story ideas and introduce other characters. And the producers are pushing the angle that it'll follow the vein of The Shining and Repulsion.
