The Italian movie business has pretty much ground to a halt, thanks to a strike by the actors who dub Hollywood movies into Italian. As a result, there will be no new American films hitting the screens for some time. The voice-over artists are demanding more money, recognition and other benefits. Claudio Sorrentino, who provides the voice of Mel Gibson in Italian, said in an interview with CNN, "If the movies do well in Italy, it's because we do our job well. When people hear my voice ... they look around for Mel Gibson. Of course, when they see me, they are a little disappointed. Even though I'm taller than Mel Gibson."
