There’s always a lot of chatter at the San Diego Comic-Con – usually from the jobsworth convention organizers – about how the footage that’s show in Hall H won’t be put online. Well, it seems the studios are altering their position slightly (or Summit is, at least), since the teaser trailer for** Drive Angry 3D**, starring Nic Cage, is now on the web thanks to Bloody Disgusting.
Okay, so it’s just the teaser and not all the footage shown at the Con panel, but it’s still more than tends to get released around the big event.
In this case, Nic Cage, channeling Bill Bailey in his look, is a vengeful dad bent on hunting down the people who slaughtered his daughter and stole her child. But his quest is not without violence, or blood – and the odds stacked against him are great.
With My Bloody Valentine 3D’s Patrick Lussier behind the camera, and Amber Heard, Billy Burke, William Fichtner and David Morse also in the cast, Drive Angry 3D will screech into cinemas next February.
