Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange have signed to star in Grey Gardens, a true story of two eccentric relatives of Jackie “wife of John” Kennedy Onassis. The pair hit the headlines in the States when the health department threatened to raid their flea-infested home in the swanky area of East Hampton, New York.
Michael Sucsy, a commercials director, is writing and helming the film inspired by a 1976 documentary of the same name. The story took a turn for the humiliating when Jackie O herself was forced to step in and save her family from public ridicule.
