British director Michael Winterbottom is organising a trip to Pakistan to prepare for his new movie about the war in Afghanistan. Winterbottom, whose previous work includes the award-winning Welcome To Sarajevo, will use the trip to research the untitled movie, which focuses on the plight of two brothers escaping the crisis. 'It is essentially about one brother who makes it and another who doesn't,' the film's producer Andrew Eaton tells ScreenDaily.Com. 'We've been working on it for a while. They were either going to be Chinese or Afghan, but recent events decided that.' The film will be scripted by Tony Grisoni, who wrote the screenplay for Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas and follows the progress of two brothers travelling from the Afghan refugee camps in Pakistan to London.
