He may be getting on a bit, but Michael Douglas is showing no signs of slowing down. After agreeing to team up with his offscreen missus in Monkeyface, Michael Douglas will be teaming up with director, Barry Levinson, for Secret Service thriller, The Sentinel. Based on Gerald Petievich's novel of the same name, The Sentinel follows Secret Service agent Pete Garrison, who embarks on a mission to root out a neo-Nazi killer who has infiltrated the White House. And, if that weren't enough, he soon finds himself at the mercy of a blackmailer who not only threatens to reveal his illicit affair with the First Lady but tries to frame him for murder as well. Himself a former Secret Service agent, Petievich spins a tangled web of sex, lies and political intrigue. With Ocean's 12 scribe George Nolfi adapting and the Disclosure director at the helm, there should be more than enough good material here to keep Douglas happy.
