Dominic Cooper On For November Man

Pierce Brosnan just can’t let go of the espionage world. One particular passion project – November Man – is now looking like it’ll make it through the obstacle course of development and actually start shooting, with Roger Donaldson directing and Dominic Cooper co-starring.

November Man was adapted from Bill Granger’s novel There Are No Spies by Michael Finch and Karl Gajdusek. It finds a former CIA operative (Brosnan) dragged back into the spy game for a very personal mission, one which pits him against a former apprentice (Cooper), high-level CIA officials and the Russian political system. Granger’s books follow the same character through several adventures, so there’s fodder for a franchise should this one take off.

"November Man has been a labour of love for both me and my company," Brosnan said. "I'm looking forward to working with The Solution and reuniting with both Roger and Dominic as we prepare to make a great film." He’s referring to the fact that he shot **Dante’s Peak **with the director and co-starred with Cooper on Mamma Mia. There should be no signing and a lower chance of volcanoes this time around.

Donaldson is set to shoot this October in Berlin.
