Stephanie Szostak has been invited to Dinner For Schmucks.
The upcoming actress, whose most prominent role to date was a brief appearance in The Devil Wears Prada, has snagged the female lead in Jay Roach’s comedy, which stars Paul Rudd as a man who throws a weekly dinner party that aims to find the most pathetic guest imaginable, and Steve Carell as a man who fulfils all the criteria and more, with unexpected – but hilarious – results.
Szostak will play Rudd’s girlfriend, joining the already-cast Zach Galifianakis and Lucy Punch.
Filming starts soon on the Paramount/DreamWorks/Spyglass flick, with a release pencilled in for next July.
