Thomas Jane has signed up for Evilseek, in which he’ll play the Devil inhabiting the body of a dead cop.
Wayne Kramer (Running Scared) is writing and directing the supernatural thriller about a police officer who becomes so depressed by the acts of a serial killer that he commits suicide. Satan, taking possession of his mortal soul, decides to use the cop’s body as a vessel to visit Earth, and ends up dealing with the various dysfunctional elements of the man’s life, including a disgruntled wife and a randy teenage daughter. He also decides to carry on the cop’s mission of tracking down the killer.
Kramer plans to shoot later this year.
