He Comes In Peace will trail ex-president Jimmy Carter as he embarks on a signing tour for his latest release, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid and will feature the one-time pres talking about how to solve the problems of the Middle East. Good luck with that one.
"The president's book tour occurs at a crossroads where the world of religion intersects with global politics," Demme told Variety. "This picture is just an extraordinary honour for me. I loved Carter when he was president, and I've loved him more and more since he left office. He makes me feel so proud to be an American."
