With most of his cast now assembled for the Death Wish remake, director Eli Roth has locked down one of the key pieces. Beau Knapp will be the main antagonist for Bruce Willis in the new movie.

Willis is taking over the Charles Bronson role for the new take on the 1974 movie, which finds father Paul Kersey devastated by a tragic crime against his wife and daughter. When the authorities fail to bring the perpetrators to justice, Kersey decides to take matters into his own hands, with violent results. Well, the film's not called Peace Wish, is it?

Knapp joins a cast that already includes Vincent D’Onofrio, Elisabeth Shue, Dean Norris, Mike Epps, Kimberly Elise, Camilla Morrone and Ronnie Gene Blevins as various friends, family and adversaries for Willis' main man. Roth worked on the script with Dean Georgaris and the movie should be out next year. As for Knapp, he last popped up in The Nice Guys and will be back on our screens in Ang Lee's latest, Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, which arrives in the UK on 6 January.
