After finding success with her Sundance drama Blue Car, writer/director Karen Moncrieff will follow it up with The Dead Girl.
The cheerily titled drama will feature a hefty roster of thesps, including Josh Brolin, In Her Shoes’ Toni Collette, Spider-Man’s James Franco, Marcia Gay Harden, Brittany Murphy and Giovanni Ribisi.
The plot follows the dark mystery swirling about a young woman’s death that is revealed when several peoples’ lives come into contact. Moncrieff plans to kick off shooting in April.
