De-Jar Vu

All across the land the wailing and gnashing of teeth can be heard from Star Wars fans whose prayers have gone unanswered. Yes it's true - Jar Jar Binks will be back in Episode II. The movie's official site yesterday confirmed that Ahmed Best - who plays the character that so many of us loved to hate - will be returning for a second time as the geeky Gungan. Other members of the confirmed cast include Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman. According to the chaps at coming attractions - Jar Jar's return is none other than a dastardly plot by George Lucas linked with bringing in Boba Fett at this part of the story. Or is this all one conspiracy theory too far? We'll reserve judgement at this point.
