According to the Hollywood Reporter, that bloke from the X-Files is deep in negotiations to star in an upcoming MGM romance, Return to Me. Not the most obvious choice for a leading man - but the film still has a slightly X-Files feel to it: it's about a man who falls in love with the woman who received his late wife's donor heart. The film will mark the directorial debut of actress Bonnie Hunt and will start shooting next spring in Los Angeles and Chicago.
