It’s been a couple of years since the Dardenne brothers’ Two Days, One Night propelled Marion Cotillard to her second Oscar nomination. According to Variety, the pair have a new movie taking shape.

“We are writing the script now, and hope to shoot it in Belgium by the fall of next year,” said Luc Dardenne. The siblings are promising a drama set in their native land that will tackle into the modern-day bight that is terrorism. If you'd had a fiver on it being an action movie starring Wesley Snipes and Jason Statham, you’d be fresh out of luck.

Not much more is known at this point, except that the Dardennes should be just the filmmakers to bring a social-realist, humanist focus to an issue that’s so far been tackled mostly by London Has Fallen.

Look out for more news as we get it, and expect this one to win the Palme d’Or in 2018.
