Danny Glover, who has been busy acting in movie musical Dreamgirls, will switch soft shoe shuffles for gritty gun action as he joins the Mark Wahlberg thriller The Shooter.
Glover joins a loaded cast that already includes Michael Pena, Rhona Mitra, Kate Mara and Eliza Bennett in a tale of a former CIA marksman (make that Marky marksman) forced back into action to stop his deadliest rival framing him for a presidential assassination attempt.
Antoine Fuqua will roll cameras next month on the film, which is based on Stephen Hunter’s novel Point Of Impact.
