Dan Fogler Playing Hitchcock

In drama Number Thirteen

It’s not often you see Alfred Hitchcock being portrayed on screen and it can’t be an easy job for anyone. But Dan Fogler, soon to be seen in School for Scoundrels, is willing to give it a try for indie thriller Number Thirteen.

Chase Palmer has penned and is directing the drama, which chronicles the making of Hitch’s unfinished first film titled, somewhat predictably, Number Thirteen. He gets wrapped up in a love triangle with two crew members during the shoot, but when the lead is found murdered, the editor throws the light of suspicion (though surely that should be the director of photography’s job?) on the director.

If they sign, Fogler will have top quality support – Ewan McGregor and Geoffrey Rush are considering roles.
