While the likes of Star Wars and the upcoming Chaos Walking take up a lot of her time, Daisy Ridley is always looking for other movies to squeeze in between the behemoths. She's now attached to star in an odd new film called Daddio.

Written by Christy Hall, the script finds a woman picked up by a taxi at JFK airport and driven to her apartment in Manhattan. During the trip, she and the cab driver start discussing their past relationships and how they impact their lives.

The film is at an embryonic stage, with no director or even a studio attached yet, though Ridley's agents at CAA are locking down the cash to get it made and looking for a distribution partner. The hope is for Ridley to fit in into her schedule before she has to report to the set of Star Wars: Episode IX, which thanks to the change in director to J.J. Abrams, will start shooting in June.

Ridley has Murder On The Orient Express due on 3 November, followed by Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which arrives on 14 December.
