Although we shall soon see him Ghost Riding through the night, perhaps even "hitting the highway like a battering ram on a silver black phantom bike" - as Meat Loaf once said - Nicholas Cage's role in the Joe Ruben-helmed Crazy Dog has been confirmed.
The plot centres around a cowardly New York City cop (Cage) who causes the untimely death of a friend, owing to his yellow-bellied tendencies. Fuelled by uncontrolable guilt, he begins a rampage across the city, before seeking redemption for his wrong-doings.
Crazy Dog is the latest addition to what looks like an already hectic shooting schedule for Cage over the next two years, with another eight movies all to be completed.
