Crank 2: High Voltage Trailer

Chev Chelios gets even more demented

Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor's insane Crank is possibly the most outrageous action film ever made, but from the looks of the Crank 2: High Voltage trailer here, they've outdone themselves with the sequel.

The story sees Jason Statham's Chev Chelios, last seen falling from a great height (and bouncing) at the end of Crank, losing the "indestructible heart" that kept him alive to Chinese organ harvesters (it looks like). It's replaced by a dodgy electric model that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep it going (hence the title), so instead of keeping the adrenalin up this film will see Chelios regularly electrocute himself.

To say that this trailer looks barmy would be an understatement - it has the potential to be either the worst or most gleefully over-the-top action movie ever, but it's obvious that the gratuitous tits, violence and swearing are all present and correct, which is something to look forward to.

This is not safe for work, incidentally, as if it weren't obvious.
