The Hollywood reporter has discovered that Daniel Craig is signed on for four more Bond movies, according to MGM CEO Harry Sloan. That's great news for the series, whichever way you slice it – unless you're one of the increasing weak-sounding craignotbond haters – but what's not entirely clear is whether that mean four including Bond 22 or four more after Bond 22.
When he was originally announced as the new Bond, Craig was very cagey about how many films he might stay for and it was largely thought that he'd be on for two or three. But five would actually take him past Pierce Brosnan, but not Ro-JAH Moore or Sean Connery.
We'd love to see Craig stick around that long if he can keep on helping make his movies among the best in the cannon, as Casino Royale was. He's soon to start filming on his second, and the series' 22nd, with Marc Forster.
