Belgian-born filmmakers Luc and Jean-Pierre Dardenne are festival favourites and have now announced a follow-up to their award-winning 2011 drama The Kid With The Bike called **Deux Jours, Une Nuit **(T****wo Days, One Night if you're not into the whole French thing). But the even bigger news is that Marion Cotillard will star.

Talking with The Film Stage, Luc Dardenne announced that she’s signed on and that both brothers are looking forward to working with her for the first time.

Cotillard will play a woman who has a weekend to visit her colleagues and convince them to give up their hard-earned bonuses so she can keep her job. Dardenne veteran Fabrizio Rongione joins her in the film as her character’s husband.

The brothers have been working on the script for years, but only got it figured out and finished last year. They aim to kick off shooting early this summer in Belgium. Cotillard most recently worked on Guillame Canet’s crime drama Blood Ties and James Gray’s Lowlife. There’s no sign of a release date for either film just yet.
