Boston born comic Dane Cook is continuing his mission to take over cinema.
He’s negotiating to star in Employee Of The Month, a new Clerks-style comedy.
If he’s hired, Cook will play one of two nerdy clerks at a discount superstore. They’re competing for the coveted title of Employee of the Month, but when they realise that the affections of a sexy new cashier are also at stake, the competition turns brutal.
Cook has already played a frustrated employee – he was most recently seen in restaurant comedy Waiting, alongside Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris.
