Consulting The Sorting Hat

Spotted at last night's Tomb Raider premiere was veteran actor Leslie Phillips, who plays an antiques expert in the film. Empire Online took the opportunity to quiz Phillips about his recent work on the upcoming Harry Potter films, as the voice of the Sorting Hat. In particular, Phillips was keen to explain how he would be depicted on film. 'I've already recorded my lines,' Phillips told us. 'It's absolutely fantastic, you have the hat and then it becomes my face - it's all special effects, you know.' 'I had a lovely time,' he went on to say. 'I have an option to appear in the second movie, which would be great.' What Phillips didn't go on to say, was that the next two Harry Potter movies are being shot back to back, so if indeed he does appear he'll probably be recording his lines for both movies at the same time.
