Original James Bond star Sean Connery, currently filming The Avengers with Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman, has been confined to bed after a brick thrown from a bridge landed on his car, smashing the windscreen and denting the roof. Although the 66-year-old actor was not injured, he was "shocked and shaken up" by the incident, which occurred after Connery had left the set of the movie feeling tired and unwell due to standing around in the rain for several hours.
