Sir Anthony Hopkins has become a US citizen after spending much of his time in Los Angeles and, according to The Sun, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels star Vinnie Jones will shortly relocate to Hollywood to concentrate on his movie career. Sir Anthony pledged allegiance to the US in a ceremony yesterday at the Federal building in Los Angeles, watched by friends John Travolta and Steven Spielberg. The 62-year old had to undergo FBI background checks, an interview with immigration officials and pass a test on his knowledge of America. He has also pledged to renounce his British ties.
