Clive Owen has jumped aboard** 28 Weeks Later** director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s next film, Intruders, which will see him co-star with Inglorious Basterds’ Daniel Bruhl.

While the actual plot is a tightly held secret the Heat Vision Blog reveals that the new Universal pic will see an 11-year-old girl confronting childhood demons.

Owen will be the kid’s father, and we’re hoping the demons are literal, because the idea of Clive Owen fighting hellish beasts is too much fun to turn down.

With the game adaptation Bioshock still lumbering away in development limbo, Fresnadillo is available to start shooting Intruders this June in London.
