The long-awaited cartoon series based on **Kevin Smith's **cult debut feature Clerks is to air on ABC television on the US from March, complete with the film's original cast voicing the characters - Brian O'Halloran as Dante and Jeff Anderson as Randal have also been confirmed to reprise their Clerks personas in Smith's next project, the imaginatively titled **Clerks 2 **due - well, no-one's sure yet...
Though no production date had been given, nor any plot details revealed, Smith's production company have already launched the Clerks 2 website (http://newsaskew.com/c2/cast.shtml) which promises to keep fans updated with the movie's progress. In other Smith news, Jay and Silent Bob are a hit in their Scream 3 cameo - the movie reaches UK shores on April 28 - and a Clerks: The Cartoon Series site is also sue to go live via Smith's production company site, www.viewaskew.com.
