Look, everyone! It's Cap's beard! Okay, okay, so maybe Chris Evans isn't playing Steve Rogers, and there's no sign of Sharon Carter in the trailer, but the furry face of the former Cap is back for new Apple TV+ drama Defending Jacob.
In the show, Evans plays assistant district attorney Andy Barber, who becomes wrapped up, like much of his Massachusetts small town, in a murder that rocks the close community. For Barber, it's even more personal, as the prime suspect in the case is his own son, Jacob, (Jaeden Martell)...
With Morten Tyldum in the director's chair, the cast also includes Michelle Dockery, Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel, Sakina Jaffrey and JK Simmons. The show kicks off on Apple TV+ on 24 April with three initial episodes, followed by once a week after that.
