While he's looking to shoot post-World War II thriller Ruin in the future, director Justin Kurzel is already working on another film, shooting True History Of The Kelly Gang. Charlie Hunnam is the latest recruit for the drama.

Russell Crowe, George MacKay, Nicholas Hoult, Essie Davis and Thomasin McKenzie are also aboard the movie, which Shaun Grant adapted from Peter Carey's Booker Prize-winning novel that will find MacKay as the notorious bushranger, one of the world's greatest outlaws and the territory that birthed his legend.

"I feel blessed that Charlie joined this cast. He has created the most unique and distinct character for this film and it has been a real highlight to work with him," Kurzel tells Variety as he prepares to wrap filming in a couple of days. "It has been a real honor working with this super talented crew and an honor to collaborate with such distinguished and talented actors." There's no word on a release date.
