Channel 4 is about to launch a new satellite channel, available only to those who pay for it. It will be called Film Four, and it's planned to be a showcase of all the innovative arthouse movies that Channel Four habitually help to fund. Channel Four have signed a deal signed with BSkyB for the satellite boradcasts, and have reached an agreement with ONdigital network to broadcast on terrestrial digital tv. The new channel will show films uncensored and uncut and will have the rights to new movies before they are shown on free terrestrial TV.
