Chad Lowe is about to start watching the clock – he’s joined the cast of TV’s biggest action drama, 24.
Obviously having seen the career boost that popular telly gave his brother (that’d be The West Wing's Rob, for anyone unaware), he must be hoping it’ll help him avoid the sort of Hollywood anonymity that leads your (soon to be ex) wife – Hilary Swank – forgetting your name as she scoops her Oscar.
He’ll play Reed Pollock, a savvy political operator based in the White House who will be going through a rough day. Also recently signed on are Numbers’ Peter MacNicol and Ray’s Regina King.
