Catherine Keener has hopped aboard Joe Wright's The Soloist. The film already boasts Jamie Foxx as Nathaniel Ayers, a homeless schizophrenic who once trained at the Juilliard Music School, and Robert Downey Jr as Steve Lopez, the LA Times journalist who brings his story to the masses. The film is based on Lopez's upcoming book From Skid Row To Disney Hall and the script is being written by Susannah Grant (Erin Brockovich).
Keener will play the wife of Downey Jr's character.
