Fellow online film site 13th Streettalked to producer Dino De Laurentiis this week about the upcoming remake of Thomas Harris's book Red Dragon. In particular, Dino talked about the casting of the movie - which includes Ed Norton and British actress Emily Watson. 'With every single character in Red Dragon, we needed a great actor. It's an acting piece. For instance, for Reba, we chose Emily Watson because she's a great actor, not because she's a name.' Asked whether he had cast anyone in particular for the role of the psychotic Tooth Fairy, De Laurentiis said, 'We're looking for somebody no one knows. We're seeing some new actors. We have not made a final decision, but we're going with somebody with practically a new face.' Most importantly, it seems that author Thomas Harris is happy with how things are going, and apparently 'loved the script'.
