As he prepares to start making the Blade Runner sequel, director Denis Villeneuve and producer Ridley Scott are bolstering the cast with some interesting choices, seemingly raiding European cinema as well as the States for talent. Now Wetlands' Carla Juri is aboard, according to Variety.

Thus far, only a few details about the film have emerged, including the fact that Harrison Ford will be back as Rick Deckard, the man last seen chasing down wayward genetically engineered replicants illegally extending their lifespans. The new movie is set decades after the 1982 original and will co-star Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Ana de Armas and Sylvia Hoeks.

The cameras will start to roll in July and the film recently shifted forward to an October 2017 release date. Juri has Morris From America, which co-stars Craig Robinson, premiering at Cannes.
