Captain Picard Transports to Broadway

Patrick Stewart takes to the stage after X-Men

Patrick Stewart, better known as Star Trek: Next Generation's Captain Luc Picard, is to take a turn on the Broadway stage next spring when he stars in an adaptation of Arthur Miller's Ride Down Mount Morgan.

Though Stewart is a veteran of the British stage, this will be his his first US outing since he performed in The Tempest in 1995. But before he gets to walk the boards again he's got to finish up on the **X-Men movie, directed by Usual Suspects **helmer Bryan Singer. Stewart plays Professor X, while co-stars include Ian McKellen, Famke Janssen, Hugh Jackman and Anna Paquin.
