The word surrounding the soon-to-be released big screen version of Starsky and Hutch must be good as we hear today that director Todd Phillips has just been given the go-ahead to turn more seventies TV fodder into cinematic gold. Phillips will take on the The Six Million Dollar Man with none other than Jim Carrey in the lead role. Just as the Starsky and Hutch film will be a comic take on our old favourite, Carrey and Phillips are planning an 'exaggerated sendup' of the programme. The film will go into production next Autumn.
