Just four British actors have made the list of Hollywood's 25 greatest actors of the Nineties. The list, put together by Entertainment Weekly, includes Ralph Fiennes, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Daniel Day-Lewis and Gary Oldman among the American actors. The list was headed by Kevin Spacey and Samuel L Jackson. Parameters for making it onto on the list included points such as the actor's best work being now, in the nineties - hence no Jack Nicholson - and no "pure film stars" like Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford . The likes of Tom Hanks and Johnny Depp are in there. You can also submit your own list. The full list and submission facility is at,2566,16-1,introduction.html
