She's about to be back on our cinema screens in Captain Marvel, but Brie Larson has her eye on some TV too. She's now signed on to star in and executive produce an untitled CIA series for Apple.

Animal Kingdom show scribe Megan Martin is making a deal to write and produce the show, which will adapt Amyrillis Fox’s upcoming memoir Undercover: Coming Of Age In The CIA. Apple has handed down a straight-to-series order for a series that will explore a young woman's journey in the agency, the story told through her closest relationships.

It's the latest MCU star to head to Apple's burgeoning TV department, which also boasts a series featuring Chris Evans. Larson's Captain Marvel arrives on Friday (Empire's review can be found here), and she'll also be seen in Avengers: Endgame, arriving on 25 April.
