Good news if you were impressed by Brie Larson’s relatively brief-but-brilliant turn as Envy Adams in Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: she’s just landed the female lead role of Molly in 21 Jump Street.

Yes, while the film lost Emma Stone to The Amazing Spider-Man, Larson has now been called up for the comedy drama, which already features Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and Ice Cube in the tale of twentysomething police officers infiltrating crime rings and dealing with their unresolved teenage issues while undercover at a high school.

**Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs **co-directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord are in charge of this one, which features a script from Hill, Michael Bacall (there goes our Scott Pilgrim-o-meter again) and Josh Applebaum. The film is set to arrive on April 10 next year.

Larson, meanwhile, will already have had some experience with cinematic police officers in Oren Moverman’s new drama Rampart, which also features future Jump Street captain Cube and should arrive on these shores some time this year.
