The news this morning that Bridget Jones's Diary has passed the monumental $100 million box office mark will have Working Title rubbing their hands in glee - but it hasn't been a good week for other British films. Peter Cattaneo's critically-hyped movie Lucky Break didn't even make it in to the top 5 this weekend at the UK box office, making it a very different story to his last effort The Full Monty. And if that isn't enough to have you weeping into your beer, to put it into context, even Crocodile Dundee 3 made more money. Crocodile Dundee 3! So look here, this really isn't good enough. We want to see more of you in the cinemas this week, giving British films a much-needed injection of cash. So go and see Lucky Break. It's a good movie - hell, we gave it four stars.
