From this fresh footage, we can surmise that A) there’s plenty of trademark Michael Mann gunplay B) Things blow up and C) Both Crockett (Colin Farrell) and Tubbs (Jamie Foxx) have a style of undercover police work that involves getting under the covers - and in cars, and on boats - with beautiful women. Tough, tough life.
But it certainly looks like Mann is living up to his recent claim in Entertainment Weekly that 'We're doing Miami Vice as if there never had been a television series, doing it real.'' See for yourself here.
