Ice Cube and Bow Wow (formerly Li'l Bow Wow, but then he grew) have signed on to star in Lottery Ticket, a project that's been in development for a while but has finally been picked up again after being put in turnaround.
The story sees a young man (Bow Wow) in the projects who wins $350 million in the lottery, and then has to keep the ticket safe over a long weekend until he can claim his prize, as his neighbours circle him for a piece of it.
There's no word yet on what character Cube will be playing, but we're speculating that it'll be tough-but-good-hearted. Music video director Erik White is making his feature debut on the film, which is based on a screenplay by Abdul Williams. Shooting starts in Atlanta in October, so watch out for this late next year, we're guessing.
