We're only two trailers into the promotional campaign for DreamWorks Animation's The Boss Baby, which features the vocal tones of Alec Baldwin, and we've already had a Glengarry Glen Ross joke. Still, it's just one moment in the new trailer, which explains a little more of the story.

Our main protagonist here is Tim, a seven-year-old with a big imagination and a happy life with his mother (Lisa Kudrow) and father (Jimmy Kimmel). He's therefore none too pleased when his parents bring home a new baby brother, and don't seem to notice that the infant is wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase.

Looking to win back his parents’ affection, the older kid discovers a secret plot by the CEO of Puppy Co. that threatens to destroy the balance of love in the world. Baldwin's pint-sized troublemaker is heading up the fight against the canine menace. But can the brothers find common ground? Probably...

Tom McGrath, a stalwart DreamWorks director who worked on the Madagascar movies, is behind The Boss Baby, which arrives on 7 April.
